The SL1 Ultimate, weighing in at 60 lbs., provides am extremely high
level of isolation due to the very strong steel chassis with anti-RFI
plating, the damping material which lines the chassis, and the high loss
viscoelastic feet. The massive external power supply eliminates the
transformer as a source of hum. Only the very best components, wire, and
circuit board material are used. The tube complement for the phono unit
consists of six 6922’s and four 12AX7’s which are specially selected and
tested by CAT.
